Nick (talking about backflips): I don’t know if I can do it today. We did it in our shows a couple of times, until one time - it’s a flip Joe & I do together - he didn’t actually flip me and just put my foot in his hand and went to do the flip and forgot to actually throw me up. So, I basically landed on my back and it hurt.
Nick: No! It wasn’t that that sad.
Kelly: It wasn’t sad, they just think you’re adorable. Everything you say.
Nick: Oh. “He fell on his head! Awwwwh!”
Q: You said you’d like to become President someday. If you were to run, what would your campaign slogan be?
Nick: Thought of just a simple thing the other day. Could be really, it’s just “Believe in me.”
Nick: We were shooting an episode of (JONAS L.A) where Kevin & I have to go to a Color Me Mine type store, in the show it’s called Make Me A Mug. We actually shut down a Color Me Mine for the day, and I’m sitting there in a chair, it’s kinda out in the open, and these 2 little girls and their father walk up. They’re thinking they’re gonna spend a wonderful day at Color Me Mine and the person at the door says, “Sorry. We’re shooting today.” The girl just starts crying. She goes, “YOU RUINED MY LIFE!” Then she figured out that it was JONAS that was being shot. I thought maybe that will help her, but then she went, “I HATE THAT SHOW!”
Interviewer: How much do you love being in Toronto, Canada?
Joe: I love being in Toronto, Canada. Every time I come here, there are my favorite restaurants, I go straight there… I love it here. It’s a beautiful city. People here are so nice and… beautiful women.
Interviewer: We asked some fans to submit some questions. We’re gonna let one of them come up and ask you their question. We’ve got Melissa here. Melissa?
Nick: Give me a hug first, how about that?
Interviewer: After we are done, we can go to my house for the “afterparty”…
Q: Are the Jonas Brothers breaking up?
Joe: Me and my brothers, we have no intention of breaking up. Even taking a break doesn’t sound right. I think, for us it just is a period where we all wanna focus on certain things. For me, this is just something I’ve always wanted to do.
Q: What’s it like in the studio?
Joe: Oh, Winston! I always had Winston in the studio. My dog. The first time I brought him in, I was really nervous because the music was so loud and his ears are sensitive, so he was freakin’ out and he kinda didn’t know what was going on and then he got relaxed. He loved being in the studio… but he did drop a very big dump during the Chris Brown session. We ended the session early. We were, like, “Wow…”
Q: What was it like working with Chris Brown?
Joe: It was cool. It actually started with just hanging out, but I really wanted to write with him. So we got a chance to write together. We were just pumped. We were really excited about it.
Q: Who would you like to work with?
Joe: I don’t mean to be name-dropping right now, ‘cause I feel like I’m about to, but Adele right now… I love her new record and I think she’s awesome. She’s such a great person, too, so I think it’d be amazing to work with her.
Q: What is Just In Love With You about?
Joe: You wanna do everything in your power to forget that person, and be so mad at them but yet those feelings inside of you are still so strong you can’t help but love that person. At the end of the day, it’s a happy song because it’s talking about how even through the flaws, I still love you. That’s what people say is true love is when they love their good and bad sides.
